Our 2026 Roadmap

We are stepping into 2026 with more ambition, clarity, and momentum than ever before, and we couldn't be more excited about what's ahead.

In recent months, we've taken a step back, looked closely at our work, and gotten a better sense of what we do best and where we want to focus more of our time and energy. That has helped us grow what we're capable of and shape what we believe is our strongest roadmap yet. If you've been following our journey, 2026 is going to feel different in the best possible way.

Here's what you can expect:

  • Major updates to our core products
  • Completely new and exciting plugins, tools, and assets
  • 50 brand new post process materials
  • New high-quality texture packs
  • Over 400 new tutorials
  • More than 50 in-depth articles
  • Expanded documentation and practical guides
  • A sneak peek into our upcoming game
  • And much more...

2026 will be our biggest year yet across product development, education, and community growth. Below is a detailed breakdown of what's coming and when you can expect it.

General

In addition to keeping the business running smoothly (maintaining our products, paying taxes, and making sure you always get great support), we also publish regular updates, releases, and helpful content. Most of it is free!

Here's what we publish and when:

  • Daily: Unreal Engine tips and tricks videos on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
  • Every Tuesday: A new learning resource on our learning page.
  • Every Thursday: A new post process material.
  • Weekly: Long-form YouTube videos.
  • Monthly: A recap of the month's highlights, plus what's coming next.
  • Ongoing: Updating our products while keeping documentation and guides current, clear, and reliable.
  • Game updates: Once our game is ready to show, we'll share progress in both short-form and long-form videos. Learn more about our upcoming game.

You can subscribe to our newsletter on the news page to stay up to date. We won't spam your inbox, and we'll only email you when there's something important.

Quarter 1

We are starting 2026 by laying down a stronger foundation for everything we do. This quarter is focused on moving to our new website, and making sure everything is organized in a way that feels faster, cleaner, and easier to use. Products, learning content, and updates should be simpler to find, and the overall experience should feel much more polished. In addition to the migration we will:

Release 12 new post process materials
Expand our library of materials with 12 brand new post process materials throughout the quarter.
Host a sales event
We are planning a sales event in March. We will share more information on the news page as we get closer.
Publish 90 short-form tutorials
We are releasing 90 short tutorials focused on quick tips and practical workflows in Unreal Engine. These are completely free and can be viewed on our social video channels.
Update product documentation
Improve documentation across our products so everything stays clear, current, and reliable, especially alongside the website migration.

Quarter 2

We are extremely thankful for all of the support throughout the years for our products. Between April and June we are pushing hard to update our existing products. This means new assets included in products you have already bought, improved performance, better workflows, and a lot of quality improvements across the board. If you already own our products, this is a big quarter for you. We will also:

Launch new product bundles
We are creating new bundles that make it easier to grab the right collection of assets for your projects, without having to piece everything together yourself.
Expand learning resources
We are expanding learning content with more practical guides, clearer explanations, and resources.
Release new texture packs
We are releasing new high-quality texture packs that work well with our existing products to give you more flexibility.
Support community projects
We are putting time into supporting community projects through features, highlights, and sharing the great work being made with our products.

Quarter 3

Between July and September we are shifting from upgrades into bigger releases. This is where we drop a major product release, and share more of what we have been building behind the scenes.

We are also planning an exclusive early preview of our upcoming game. It will be an early look, but we want it to be meaningful, not just a teaser. We are also working on an Unreal Engine master course, aimed at being more structured and in-depth than our usual content.

On top of that, we are continuing with user-driven product improvements. We pay close attention to feedback and common requests, and Q3 is where a lot of that gets turned into real updates. We will also be sharing more behind-the-scenes content about how we create products, how we test them, and how we decide what to release.

Quarter 4

From October to December, our focus is on making everything feel better to use and easier to keep up with. This quarter is all about improving the overall user experience, refining what already works, and reinvesting in proven products and ideas that the community clearly loves.

We are also going to showcase partner collaborations during Q4. This includes highlighting great work and sharing projects we are excited about. We will also use this quarter to catch up on pending tasks and make sure we finish the year strong instead of carrying a bunch of unfinished work into the next one.

Finally, we'll be setting our goals and priorities for 2027. We want to finish the year with a clear sense of what's next, based on what we shipped, what worked best, and what you'd like to see more of.
